In the United Kingdom’s capital, British MPs and members of the diplomatic community met with Ukrainians affected by Russian war crimes. The event, organized by the UK Embassy in Ukraine and the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, featured speeches by Olha Reshetylova, head of the Media Initiative for Human Rights (MIHR), alongside testimonies from two victims.

In Warsaw, MIHR, Zmina, and OMCT presented a large-scale study of Russia's crimes in the occupied territories of Ukraine. It is about the torture and persecution of Ukrainians on political and ideological grounds. During the discussion, they also talked about the medical and legal documentation of torture, with PHR sharing its experience.

During the annual OSCE human rights conference in the Polish capital, MIHR presented a large-scale investigation into how Russia persecutes Ukrainians. This is its second part. It not only describes in detail the crimes committed by the Russian military in Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions but also records the places where Ukrainians are held, the ways they are taken to Russia, and the names and military units involved in these crimes.

Olha Reshetylova, Head of the Media Initiative for Human Rights, opened the first plenary session of the OSCE Warsaw Human Dimension Conference with an opening speech. The human rights activist began her speech with a proposal to observe a minute of silence to honor the memory of Ukrainians who died as a result of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

The International Committee of the Red Cross confirmed the detention of at least 60 Ukrainian doctors in Russian captivity. Meanwhile, the Media Initiative for Human Rights currently lists more than a hundred medical professionals imprisoned by Russia. Human rights activists estimate that the number of such detainees could exceed 500.
