The Media Initiative for Human Rights has started an advocacy visit to the OSCE. Today, in Vienna, Lyubov Smachylo, MIHR's analyst, participated in the event "Persecution of Ukrainian civilians in the occupied territories as a crime against humanity: efforts of Ukrainian civil society to restore justice."

Olha Reshetylova, the Head of the Media Initiative for Human Rights, took part in one of the discussion panels at a conference of the Norwegian Helsinki Committee held in Oslo. Together with Lene Wetteland, the Head of Documentation and Accountability Hub of the NHC, they discussed the issue of holding those responsible for war crimes in Russia accountable.

The event was initiated and moderated by Petras Auštrevičius, MEP of the Renew Europe group, a Lithuanian politician working hard to support Ukraine.

At the initiative of the British and Ukrainian embassies in the Netherlands and with the support of the Media Initiative for Human Rights, the Ukraine Witness Testimony Event was held in The Hague, during which witnesses to Russia's war crimes in Ukraine told their stories of abduction and illegal detention.
