A temporary center. How Ukrainian prisoners went through Shebekino

At the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion Shebekino was expected to receive Ukrainian refugees. However, the expectations did not materialize, so the Russians quickly found another role for the town. MIHR continues documenting the testimonies of those released from captivity. This time we are talking about a camp in Shebekino.

“Currency” for Wagner: where did the fighters from the 58th Brigade go?

The fate of most of the men who disappeared on the battlefield of 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade unit is unknown. According to family estimates, there are about three thousand of them. In conversations with the MIPL, some suggest that the soldiers are in detention centers in the occupation, on the territory of the Russian Federation, and in captivity with the Wagner Group.

Sailors from the vessel “Donbas”: An unknown page of the heroic defense of Mariupol

This story began in 2014, when young cadets, who had not betrayed their oath, sang the Ukrainian anthem on the Nakhimov Naval Academy parade ground in Sevastopol. They were singing while the rest of the traitors and the occupiers were replacing the Ukrainian flag with the Russian flag on the flagpole.
