NGO “Media Initiative for Human Rights” invites you to e-attend the presentation of the report “Female face of Donbas hostages”.
The event is to be conducted within the project implemented by the MIHR with the support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kyiv.
December 14, 16:00 – 17:30 (Kyiv time)
The research was aimed at drawing attention of the Ukrainian public as well as the international community towards the problem of hostages, in particular, women in captivity as well as female family members of the male hostages who find themselves under the pressure of the illegal armed groups after the arrest of their beloved ones.
The report prepared is based upon interviews with 12 former female hostages and 8 family members of the current hostages. Aside from the facts on the circumstances of illegal detention, the document contains policy recommendations.
The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine Ms. Anka Feldhusen will make an introductory speech.
The report will be presented by:
